MTV UNVEILS THE TRAILER FOR THE SECOND SEASON OF THE CRITICALLY ACCLAIMED DRAMA "FINDING CARTER" PREMIERING ON TUESDAY, MARCH 31 AT 10:00 P.M. ET/PT
Fan Favorite Alex Saxon Upped To Series Regular
Network to Release the First Eight Minutes of the Season Premiere on the MTV App a Week Ahead of the Television Debut
Los Angeles, California (March 9, 2014) - MTV debuts the trailer for the highly anticipated second season of its hit drama series "Finding Carter" which premieres on Tuesday, March 31st at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
"Finding Carter," a family drama series, returns to MTV with twelve all-new episodes. Season two picks up right after last season's cliffhanger with newly kidnapped Carter (Kathryn Prescott) more scared than ever. What Carter learns will shake the foundation of her already fragile family to its core, as the biggest secrets of all are yet to be revealed.
Viewers will also see fan favorite 'Max' played by Alex Saxon ("The Fosters") back for good as he joins the cast this season as a series regular.
Building upon previous successes, MTV will premiere the first eight minutes of the hit drama series on the MTV App on Monday March 23rd at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT, one week ahead of the premiere on March 31st. Throughout the week, fans can watch the first eight minutes of the season premiere on the app on iOS, Android, XBOX One App and Xbox 360 for Xbox Live members in the U.S.
The MTV App provides fans unmatched access to current as well as retro favorites via TV Everywhere. Access to full-length episodes in the MTV App is included as part of a subscriber's TV service package. Subscribers simply need to sign in with their TV provider credentials to watch full episodes. All users will be able to access original content that extends the narrative of the show, including after shows, cast interviews and original webisodes.

"Finding Carter," was the number one new series of the year with teens among full-day, ad supported cable networks as well as the number one new cable scripted series of the year with P18-24 among full-day, ad supported cable networks. In addition, the series also has the highest L3 & L7 series playback in MTV history among P12-34 (L3: +75% lift, L7: +84% lift).
