ESPN Films' "30 for 30" Series Celebrates 10th Anniversary in 2019

Debuts trailer celebrating the series and teases a sampling of upcoming subjects including: Deion Sanders, Lance Armstrong, Flo-Jo, Dennis Rodman, Janet Guthrie, Michael Vick, and Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell

(Note - this is a sampling of subjects coming up in 2019/2020 but not a comprehensive list of topics. Additional film subjects to be announced at a later date.)

2019 marks the 10th anniversary of the 30 for 30 documentary series at ESPN, and the group has quietly become a powerhouse film studio. To celebrate the milestone, ESPN Films (headed by vice president and executive producer Libby Geist) debuted a new trailer during the College Football Championship game showcasing where the brand has been and where it is headed. 30 for 30 trailer link: https://es.pn/2Fg9Qdk

The trailer highlights many of the series popular films including the Academy Award-winning "O.J.: Made in America," "You Don't Know Bo," "Nature Boy," "I Hate Christian Laettner," "The Fab Five," "The U," "Doc and Darryl," "The Price of Gold," "Survive and Advance," and many others - noting that the entire 30 for 30 library is available for streaming on ESPN+. It then goes on to feature upcoming film topics that are in development in the coming two years, including: Lance Armstrong, Flo-Jo, Dennis Rodman, Janet Guthrie, Michael Vick, and Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell.

The trailer also teases the upcoming film on Deion Sanders called "Deion's Double Play," premiering on ESPN at 9 p.m. ET on January 31, that takes a close look at an unbelievably eventful few days in the life of the celebrated two-sport athlete and NFL Hall of Famer whose love of the spotlight spawned the self-given nickname "Prime Time." No event encapsulates Deion's limitless abilities and unparalleled conviction like the 24 hours in October of 1992, when Sanders sandwiched a pro football game between a pair of postseason baseball games in two different cities, located one-thousand miles apart.
